Thule SquareBar Crossbars Installation - 2019 Hyundai Elantra- Video

Today we have a 2019 Hyundai Elantra and we're gonna do a test fit of the Thule Square Bar Crossbar Roof Rack System. As a roof rack mounts to the roof of your vehicle and allows you to get your favorite accessories on top of your roof, whether you wanna carry a bike rack, a kayak or even a smaller cargo box.It's made up of a couple of different components. First up top we have our 53 inch square bar crossbars. Now Thule has redesigned these so they do look pretty nice and what, in my opinion, is the coolest feature is that rather than having a foot pack that's special for the square bar, they actually have an included track in the bottom and now these Evo feet are gonna be able to fit your square bars and your wing bars.Now leading into our Evo feet for naked roofs, this is basically gonna be the middle man between the crossbar and the fit kit. The foot is going to install into that track and it's going to be tightened down right here using that bolt on the inside, leading down here to our thicket, we have a rubber coated hook that goes under our door frame. We're gonna have this nice thick rubber pad that's actually designed to fit the contours of our Elantra. more

Rhino-Rack Euro Square Roof Rack Installation - 2012 Hyundai Elantra- Video

Today on our 2012 Hyundai Elantra, we're going to be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack 2100 Series Roof Rack, consisting of part numbers DS126B, that's going to be the actual roof rack with the 49 inch long bars, and the 2500 series legs, and part number DK301, this is the custom fit kit for the Hyundai Elantra. The Rhino-Rack roof rack system is great for carrying a wide variety of objects on your roof and possibly freeing up some space in your car. Another nice feature about this roof rack system are these locking end caps here, so once you have this installed, it's going to be secured to your roof. The bars are nice and sturdy and have a carrying capacity of 165 pounds once you have them installed, although you always want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that weight. Now that we've gone over some of the features of the roof rack system, let's go ahead and show you how it installs. We have our front one installed, let's go ahead and finish up on the rear here. We'll first flip our bar upside down and get the proper measurement for our strips here. Now, to adjust these along our bar here, we're going to have to loosen up this screw using the included torquing tool. more

Today in our 2012 Hyundai Elantra, we're going to be test fitting the Rhino-Rack RS 2500 series roof rack, part number RRRS314B. The Rhino-Rack 2500 series RS roof rack is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories and freeing up space in your car. It's very easy to install, and it just clamps onto your naked roof. It has these rubber strips here at the top, and that, coupled with the aerodynamic bar itself, will actually cut down wind noise and drag while you're driving. It also enables you to use T-Track accessories with this roof rack. It also has locking end caps on all of the legs, so when this is installed onto your roof, it's actually going to be secured to your roof as well. more

Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2014 Hyundai Elantra- Video

Today on this 2014 Hyundai Elantra, we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack System, consisting of part numbers RRVA126B-2, that's the crossbars, part number RRRLKVA, that's going to be your towers, and part number DK301, and that's going to be the clamp that holds it on to your vehicle. As you can see here, we have one already installed on the front of our vehicle. It has a nice aerodynamic shape, which is going to cut down wind noise and drag. It's very sturdy. Let's go ahead and show you how the rear one goes on, which we already have partially assembled on our table here. Now, how this works, I'm going to take our foot, and it has this bracket, or metal bracket here on the top. That's going to fit into this slot here on our crossbar like so. Now, next, you would take a strip and measure out how far this needs to be in or out. more

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra we're doing a test fit of the Rhino Rack Vortex Arrow crossbars. The part number for our crossbars today is RRVA126B-2. For our foot pack we're using is RRRLKVA. For our fit kit for our Elantra we're using DK301. We already have that front bar in place. We're going to show you how to put our back bar together throwing this last foot on there and then we'll show you how to put it on our vehicle. We'll start by taking our plastic bottom here. more

Rhino-Rack Aero Roof Rack Installation - 2012 Hyundai Elantra- Video

Today on our 2012 Hyundai Elantra, we'll be test fitting the Rhino-Rack 2500 Series roof rack with Aero crossbars, 46" long, in black, part number DA118B. We'll also be using the Custom DK clamps and pads for the Rhino-Rack 2500 Series, part number DK010. With our roof rack assembled according to the instructions, we'll begin our test fit by opening both of our front doors. We'll grab our front bar and place it onto the front part of our roof. To ensure that we have this in the correct location, we need to measure 230 mm from the center of our door jamb back towards the front of our vehicle. This will be the location of the center of our leg foot plate. more

Thule Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Hyundai Elantra- Video

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra, we'll be test fitting the Thule square bar roof racking system, part numbers THLB58, TH480, and THKIT1654. Now with our feet, fit kit, and load bars already assembled according to the included instructions, we'll begin our test fit by placing the front load bar onto the front of the vehicle. We'll then measure from the first part of the glass to the first part of the foot, according to the included instructions. This measurement is 8-7/8". We'll measure this on both the passenger and driver's side of the vehicle, ensuring the load bar is perpendicular to the vehicle, and the rubber pads on the bottom of the feet contour to the roof line of our Elantra. Once we have established this position, we can use Thule's included tensioning tool to tighten down the feet to secure the front load bar to the front of the vehicle. more

Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Hyundai Elantra- Video

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra well be test fitting the Rhino Rack 2500 Series roof rack with heavy duty square crossbars. Part number is DH1250S and DK301. Now, with our pads and feet and crossbars already assembled as according to the included instructions, well begin our test fit by placing the front crossbar onto the front of the vehicle. Well then measure from the center of the door trim to the center of the first part of the foot according to the included instructions. Well make this measurement on both the passenger and driver side of the vehicle ensuring that the front crossbar is perpendicular to the vehicle and the rubber pads contoured to the roofline correctly. Once weve established this position we can use the included Allen key to tighten down the black bolts in the inside of the foot to tighten down the front crossbar to the front of the vehicle. more

Now with fit kit, feet and crossbars already assembled according to the included instructions, well begin our test fit by placing the front crossbar onto the front of the vehicle. Well then measure according to the instructions from the center of the door jamb to the first part of the foot. Well do this on both the passenger side and driver side of the vehicle ensuring that the crossbar is perpendicular to the vehicle and the rubber pads and the bottoms of the feet contour to the roofline correctly. Once we have established this position, we can use the included Allen key to tighten down the black bolts on the interior of the foot securing the front crossbar to the front of the vehicle. After this has been tightened down and secured we can load our rear crossbar. more

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra we'll be test fitting the Rhino Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack System in black, part numbers da126b, and dk301. After assembling our pads and our feet, and our crossbars according to the included instructions, we'll begin our test fit by placing the front crossbar onto the front of the vehicle. We'll then measure from the center of the door jamb to the center of the foot as stated in the included instructions on both the passenger and driver side of the vehicle ensuring that the crossbar is perpendicular to the vehicle and the pads on the bottom of the feet contour to the roof correctly. Once we've established this position onto the roof, we can use the included Allen key to tighten down the black bolts on the inside of the feet to secure the front crossbar to the front of the vehicle. We'll then replace our locking caps and we're ready to load our rear crossbar. We'll place our rear crossbar onto the rear of our vehicle and measure our crossbar spread. more

Rhino-Rack Aero Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Hyundai Elantra DA126- Video

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra we'll be test fitting the Rhino Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack, part numbers da126, and dk301. Now with our crossbars and feet already assembled according to the included instructions, we'll begin our test fit by first placing the front crossbar onto the front of the vehicle. We'll then measure from the center of the door jamb to the center of the foot, and this measurement will be 310 millimeters which converts to 31 centimeters. We'll measure this on both the passenger and driver side of the vehicle ensuring that the crossbar is perpendicular and the rubber pads on the bottom of the feet contour to the vehicle correctly. Once we've established this position onto our Elantra, we'll then use the included tensioning Allen key to tighten down the black bolts on the inside of the tower. Once we've done this for both sets of bolts, we're ready to load up our rear crossbar. more

Today on our 2010 Hyundai Elantra, we're going to do a test of the Thule load bar system. We'll be using a Traverse Foot Pack with the square load bars. Okay. We already have load bars already assembled according to the instructions to so it's just a matter or trying them out on the car. We're going to go ahead and open up the doors and go ahead and install our first crossbar towards the windshield. We'll go ahead and measure out the final spot. more

Alright, today on this 2010 Hyundai Elantra we're going to do a test fit of a Rhino Roof Rack System part of a 2500 series. And we got them already assembled according to the instructions. All we've got to do is test fit it to the roof. Ok, we'll go ahead and start off by installing the first crossbar. We'll open the front two doors first and then place our crossbar in position.
